Pencils: HB - 8B
The hair looks crappy Dx.. I suck at blond hair as usual. There's a lot of detail in the picture and it was a pain to draw, but it was pretty fun I guess. Something new : D.. I know theres a much much better version of this by another artist somewhere in dA but oh well D:..
This took me forever to finish. I did it bit by bit and stopped working on it for ages. I left it to rot sadly D:, poor Ruki. I was busy and mostly lazy and all~ Well finally it's done.
Whoa, I hope you're proud of this! I think you rendered the velveteen (or whatever the hell his outfit's supposed to be made out of) excellently. You know you did it well when the textures all look different. The velveteen and the faux leather are instantly recognisable. The hair is awesome. The details are superb - the stitching on the hat band, the studs on the lapels, and the iron cross... and of course his face looks great. xD

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Where is the love? Probably being kicked to death in a ditch somewhere by a group of yobs from Portsmouth.
